A smart and extremely well made Danish vintage rosewood dressing table and stool by Kai Kristiansen for Aksel Kjersgaard. This was made in Denmark, it dates from the 1960’s.

It is of amazing quality, it is stylish and impressive, beautifully crafted from highly figured rosewood. The grain patterns and colour tones are gorgeous throughout.

The condition is excellent, we have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the stool has been newly upholstered in a light grey linen fabric. There is just some incredibly minor wear to the silvered backing of the mirrors in places, barely noticeable.

The wood is Santos rosewood, which does not require a CITES or article 10.
