An absolutely stunning Art Deco Amboyna and inlaid satin wood leather top desk. This was made in England by Frederick Restall of Birmingham, it dates from the 1930’s.

The quality is absolutely amazing, this has an incredibly beautiful and stylish design. The kidney shaped top stands on beautiful sabre shaped legs which are scrolled at the top edges. The back is nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item. The amboyna grain patterns and colour tones are incredibly beautiful, they contrast very nicely with the inlaid satin wood and deep green leather top.

We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout.
