A stunning pair of Danish rosewood and leather Capella sofas by Illum Wikkelso. They were made in Denmark in the 1960’s.

The quality is outstanding, the solid rosewood frames are beautifully constructed and have gorgeous grain patterns. There are original black leather cushions which contrast beautifully with the frame. These are quite compact sofas, yet they are still very comfortable.

The condition is superb for their age, we have had the rosewood frames stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, with brand new black Pirelli webbing under the seats. The leather cushions are in amazing condition, with minimal wear to the leather. The fabric on the underside of the seat cushions is a little frayed in places, seen in the images but not visible at all when in place.

The wood is Santos rosewood, which does not require a CITES or article 10.
