A stunning and very rare floor lamp made in Italy, these was designed by Gaetano Sciolari, it dates from the 1960’s. This model is rarely seen, it’s in good working order and in pretty good condition for its age. There is some rubbing to the chrome frame seen in the images. Also, something that I did not notice at first, is the white magnetic plaques on the lower portion of the frame have actually been replaced with white cardboard cutouts. This hardly detracts from the look at all, and is only noticeable if you get down on the floor and look very closely. There is also a tiny bit of damage to the frame of the shade, one of the supports is loose, it does stay in place when left alone on the floor, but it can pop out of place when you carry the shade around.

A stylish and top quality Italian desk lamp, made from high quality brushed steel, and with an adjustable arm. This is extremely well made and is very heavy for its size. The arm can be adjusted from two pivoting points, and there is a brushed steel flat cap that the shade sits on top of. The shade shown is the original, and was originally attached directly to the circular metal cap. This has come away at some point and could be re-attached easily by welding, as it is we have built up the remaining three supports, and rested the shade on top, as you can see in the images. This works and has an English plug, but needs to be PAT tested. This can take up to three bulbs and has a working dimmer.
