A fantastic original vintage wing back armchair, this was made by Howard Keith, and dates from the early 1950's. This has the original HK label inside, and also bears the utility furniture stamp, so it can be dated to pre-1953. as the utility furniture scheme was ended in 1952. This one looks to have been re-upholstered fairly recently in black vinyl, the legs have also been ebonised. The condition is superb for its age, with only some extremely minor wear here and there. This is very, very comfortable as well as extremely stylish. Howard Keith has been making furniture since the company was started in 1930 right up until the present day, and has always been known for its extremely high quality.
