This is a stunning and exceedingly rare Merrow Associates coffee table, designed by Richard Young and dating from the 1970’s. Merrow Associates furniture is rare enough, but this is something we’ve never seen before. It has the usual shape and design of this model, which normally has a clear glass top, chrome frame and Rosewood base. However the top is mirrored glass, the frame is gold plated, and the base is black formica! It all seems to be right, this was definitely manufactured by Merrow Associates. It must have been a one off custom design, and the result is spectacular. The condition is great, there is only some very minor superficial wear here and there, seen in the images.
