A stunning vintage French console table, this was made in France by Pierre Vandel, it dates from the 1970's. The legs are beautifully veneered in Walnut, this has brass plated aluminium fittings and two removable glass tiers. The top glass tier is bevelled glass. The condition is excellent for its age, there is some wear to be seen on the polish on the wood, but this isn't visible from the front or sides; the wear is on the inside backs of the legs. This is identical on the back and front, on one side there is the Pierre Vandel label. When you have the table positioned with this label on the back, the wear to the polish isn't visible.
