An absolutely stunning original Art Deco period compactum wardrobe in walnut. This was made in England, it dates from the 1930’s.

It is one of the finest examples we have seen, and it is of superb quality. There is figured walnut on the top, sides and outer doors, with beautifully contrasting darker burr walnut running down the centre. The doors have an interesting fluted mounted centre piece which is another lovely feature. Inside there are shelves on one side, and a hanging rail on the other that slides out to give easier access to your clothes. There is also a shoe rack and the bottom and a tie rail on the inside of the door.

We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb for its age. The colours and grain patterns are absolutely incredible, this is a very striking and useful item.
