A fantastic original vintage bureau chest of drawers in rosewood. This was made in England by the high end manufacturer Meredew, it dates from the 1960’s.

The quality is outstanding, it is a rare and beautiful design. The carcass is beautifully crafted from rosewood, with stunning looped leather handles. The top drawer pulls out and the front face drops down to reveal a useful workspace.

There are gorgeous rosewood grain patterns throughout, this is also beautifully finished on the back, so can be used as a free standing item.

We have just had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
