A stylish and very rare vintage ladderax wall unit in rosewood. This was made by Staples in England, it dates from the 1960’s.
It is very unusual to find these in rosewood, they are much more commonly seen in teak. The three rails lean against the wall and are raised on the back to go over skirting. Once set up this is self supporting and does not need to be screwed to the wall, it assembles very easily and quickly. This consists of a gorgeous three drawer chest, three wider shelves and an additional four narrower shelves, all in rosewood.
The rosewood chest has been stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, and the rosewood shelves have been given a light clean. There is just some minor wear to the black metal rails, overall this is in superb condition for its age.
