An amazing vintage fibre optic lamp, named the “Galaxy” and made by Crestworth in Poole, England. This dates from the 1970’s, and is a marvel to look at when lit up.

The outer shell case is made from slightly tinted plastic, and inside contains around 40,000 glass optical fibre! This has a mechanism to change colours when switched on, it turns seven different colours in total.

The condition is excellent for its age, we have given it a good clean inside and out, this has also been rewired. It is in good working order, and makes a slight whirring sound when on as the motor changes the different colours.
