A superb original early Charles Eames Lounger and ottoman by Herman Miller, beautifully made from rosewood and leather.

It is very rare to find these early editions, especially in such amazing condition. This is an amazing example, dating from the 1960-70’s.

We have had this very carefully restored, it is sturdy and very comfortable as you would expect.

The leather is original, we have had it revived and enhanced by our leather restorer to bring back its original deep glossy finish. There is some minor wear to the the leather here and there, a little on the arms and on one corner of the stool the leather has crazed a little, seen in the images.

The rosewood shell cases of the chair and stool have been stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, both are in superb condition throughout. There is just some light wear to be seen on the metal bases. The rosewood grain patterns are stunning, this kind of rosewood simply isn’t available any more, so you only get this on early productions like these.

Both chair and stool have their original Herman Miller labels present beneath the bases.
