An exceptionally beautiful and very rare Danish teak dining table and chairs. The chairs were designed by Harry Ostergaard for Randers, they were made in Denmark in the 1960’s. The table came with the chairs and is designed by Ejvind Johasson for Ivan Gern, also made in Denmark in the 1960’s.
The design of both the table and chairs is incredibly stylish and both are of super high quality.
The chairs have gorgeous sculptural backrests, have cross framed bases and tapered legs. The table has a very interesting design, with a moulded T shaped support where the legs meet the table top. There are two leaves that store beneath the top and slide out from either end to make this comfortably seat ten-twelve people.
We have had all the wood on the table and chairs stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the seats have been re-upholstered in a charcoal wool fabric. The condition is immaculate throughout.
