A stunning and iconic design, this original two seat bench is an early model by Ercol. It was made in England, and dates from the 1960’s.

It is of amazing quality, with an elegant yet sturdy design. The frame is solid elm and is mostly ebonised, apart from the back rail which has been left in the light wood finish.

We have had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent throughout. At some point there had been a split in the seat, this has been well repaired so is not noticeable at all from the top. As well as being well repaired with glue, someone has attached three panels beneath the seat to further reinforce it, so it won’t happen again.
