A stunning and iconic design, this is the number 21 bentwood rocking chair by Thonet. This model was likely made in Czechoslovakia in one of the former Thonet factories which used the Thonet machinery in the mid twentieth century. It dates from around the 1970-1980’s.

The quality is excellent and this is very comfortable as you would expect.

It is in lovely vintage condition, we have given it a clean and fresh oil polish. There is still some light surface wear to the bentwood frame, mostly on the arms, but no real damage to be seen. The cane seat and back are in very good order, with no damage to be seen.
