A beautiful and incredibly well made Art Deco burr walnut and leather armchair / desk chair. This was made in England, it dates from the 1930’s.

It is of outstanding quality and has a stunning, typically Art Deco design. The cloud back seat is mostly wonderful burr walnut, with macassar banding around the top edges that scrolls into the armrest in a beautiful and unusual manner. It stands on tapered walnut legs with macassar tipped front feet.

This has been re-upholstered in cream leather, the frame has been stripped and re-polished to a very high standard. The condition is superb for its age.

This would make a great desk chair and would also look lovely standing alone as an accent chair. We have a few desks that work really well with this, one is seen in the images.
