A stunning and extremely well made pair of vintage Swedish mahogany armchairs by Carl Malmsten. They were recently imported from Sweden, they date from the 1940-50’s.

This early model is of superb quality with generous proportions, they are extremely comfortable. The frames are solid mahogany, with beautiful and sweeping curves.

The frames have been cleaned and given a fresh oil polish, they are in excellent condition, with just some extremely minor wear. They are in the original velvet fabric we obtained them in, the fabric is mostly in very good condition with some minor surface wear and a few very small marks here and there. They look lovely as is, they would also be beautiful re-upholstered.
