An absolutely stunning vintage Danish Candidate sofa by Ib Kofod Larsen for OPE. It is Danish designed but was made in Sweden, it dates from the 1960’s.

This is of outstanding quality, it is beautifully designed and is very comfortable. The frame is solid afromosia wood, it is of lovely proportions and looks amazing from all angles. The colour tones and grain patterns are lovely, the back also looks amazing so this would be great as a free standing item.

We have had the frame stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the cushions have been re-upholstered in a cream boucle fabric. The seat cushions are the original sprung cushions, the back cushions have been newly made. The original Danish Fagas straps are present, they have a little slack but as the sprung seat cushions are very study and strong, the seat does not sink at all. The condition of this sofa is superb throughout.
