An impressive and extremely beautiful vintage rosewood sideboard, this model is called the “Bridgeford” sideboard. It was designed by Robert Heritage for Archie Shine, and was made in England in the 1960’s.
This is of amazing quality, with many fine features. There are stunning rosewood grain patterns throughout, even on the inside. There are two grooved doors on either side, and two book matched rosewood doors in the middle. The interior has a bank of two rosewood drawers, shelves and lots of storage space. The interior and even the back of this is beautifully finished in rosewood, so can be used as a free standing item.
We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout. There has been one repair professionally carried out on the lower right side panel, seen in the images, this is as solid and strong as it would have been before.
