An absolutely stunning and quite unusual vintage teak sideboard. This was made in England, it dates from the 1960’s.
It is of superb quality, with a long, low and very stylish profile. There are inset steel handles which swing outwards, with a bank of drawers on the left, two door cabinet in the middle and a clever lift up cabinet section on the right. The right section is intended for use as a drinks cabinet, it is also a perfect size for storing records. The top has a lipped back, and this sits on finely crafted stretchered legs.
We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is absolutely immaculate for its age. On the very small recessed area behind the two central handles, there is a tiny hairline crack on the veneer, barely noticeable at all, but should be mentioned anyway.
