An absolutely stunning and extremely rare sideboard in rosewood. This was made in England by Everest, it dates from the 1960’s. It was most likely designed by Andrew Milne, he was known to have worked with Everest around this period and it certainly has the hallmarks of his offbeat and unique style.
It has a very unusual design, with interesting brass handles, and floral inlay on the top drawer fronts. There is a sliding door compartment on the right, with a removable serving tray inside. The left compartment opens with two regular doors and has a long shelved compartment inside. The colour tone and rosewood grain patterns are gorgeous throughout.
This has been stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is immaculate throughout.
