A superb set of 10 vintage dining chairs by Robert Heritage for Archie Shine. This model is called the “Hamilton’, they were made in England, they date from the 1960’s.

They are of fantastic quality, with an elegant yet sturdy design, they are also extremely comfortable. There are eight straight side chairs and two carver armchairs. The legs and arms are all solid mahogany.

The condition is excellent for their age, having been restored by the previous owner. The mahogany is all nicely polished, clean and sturdy, there are just a few minor marks here and there. The patterned fabric is of superb quality and is in excellent condition, also with only some extremely minor wear here and there. The fabric on the back of one carver chair has faded to quite a light colour, the back of this chair was evidently facing a window for some time.
