An excellent original Art Deco period up-lighter floor lamp in a lovely combination of glass and copper. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.
It is very well made and beautifully designed, the main shaft is made from ten long very narrow rods of clear glass surrounding a long copper rod. The base is made from peach mirrored glass, surrounded by copper, and the shade is a translucent acrylic dish.
The condition is excellent for its age, it is clean and structurally sound, with only some minor wear to the silver backing of the mirrored glass base. This has been re-wired and tested, it is in good working order.
