An extraordinary Danish armchair, this was designed by IB Kofod Larsen and was made by Mogens Kold. This is called the Eve chair, there was also a high back version called the Adam chair. These were originally commissioned in 1958 for the opening of Kolds Savværker in Kerteminde, and were only made for a very limited period after in very small numbers; these are extremely rare. This was upholstered in black leather when we got it, the back and areas under the cushions were good enough to leave as original, we had the cushions, arms and sides re-upholstered in beautiful new leather. It has completely new filling and the seat has been re-webbed. This sits on a stunning solid Teak base, which is clean and sound, the Mogens Kold badge is seen below the base. The condition throughout is amazing and this is extremely comfortable.
