A stunning and rare design, these nesting tables in rosewood were designed by Illum Wikkelso. They were made by CFC Silkeborg, and they date from the 1960’s.
They are of absolutely amazing quality and design, this particular set has an unusual twist. It is supposed to have three nesting tables that slot into it, but when we obtained this it only had the one. Our cabinet maker has expertly constructed a rosewood fronted drawer out of some old Danish rosewood shelves, it fits perfectly into the slot where the two other tables should have been. He also made an exact replica of the handle to match for the drawer. The main carcass and the one folding table are all original.
The rosewood grain patterns are gorgeous on every side of this, the back of the main table is also beautifully finished. We have had this stripped and re-polished to an extremely high standard, the condition is superb throughout. You will not see another like this!
