Danish Teak Retro Desk by Arne Vodder Vintage 1960’s
A stylish and very practical Teak desk, this was designed by the famous Danish designer Arne Vodder. It was made in Finland by Asko, this dates from around the 1960’s. This has a drop leaf which when lifted extends the surface area of the desk top. The pedestal with drawers is cleverly mounted on a runner, so it can be slid across to have the kneehole on whichever side you prefer. The back is also nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item. The condition is excellent for its age, with only some minor wear here and there, and a few minor marks to the top. There is some very slight wear to the drawer runner, so the bottom draw is a tiny but stiff, but still opens and closes very easily.
