A stylish and very rare vintage ladderax wall unit in rosewood. This was made by Staples in England, it dates from the 1960’s.
It is very unusual to find these in rosewood, they are much more commonly seen in teak. The four rails lean against the wall and are raised on the back to go over skirting. Once set up this is self supporting and does not need to be screwed to the wall, it assembles very easily and quickly. The cabinets and shelves can be assembled in a variety of configurations, not just as seen in the images.
The rosewood cabinets have been stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, and the rosewood shelves have been given a light clean. There is just some minor wear to the black metal rails, overall this is in superb condition for its age.
We also have another rosewood ladderax wall unit that could be combined with this, to make an extra large unit. That can be seen listed separately under our other items for sale.
The rosewood is Santos rosewood, that does not require a CITES or article 10 certificate.
