A very stylish and extremely well made vintage steel and glass coffee table by Knut Hesterberg. This was made in Germany, it dates from the 1960’s.

This is a very rare model, it has a stunning space age design and is of amazing quality. The steel frame is made from two solid pieces interlocked, they support a clear toughened glass circular top.

The condition is excellent for its age, the frame is solid and sturdy, with some minor surface wear and a lovely patina. The glass is in very good condition, there is just some minor surface wear on the top. There is also one extremely minor and barely perceptible chip on the edge, this can be placed face down in the supporting arm of the frame to be hidden completely.
