A superb original Art Deco period occasional table with an inlaid chess board top. This was made in England, it dates from the 1930’s.

The quality is amazing, this is a very useful and great looking piece. It is predominantly walnut, the chess board is inlaid with a combination of darker beech and lighter satin wood. The top sits on a squared central column on a platform base, all in beautiful figured walnut.

We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout.
