An extremely stylish and well made vintage rosewood extending dining table, made in England and dating from the early 1950’s.
This has an amazing design, with a beautiful thin chamfered edge to the rosewood top, it sits on wonderful splayed birch legs. The top pulls apart in the middle and there is an extension leaf that slides out to increase the dining space. The rosewood colour tones and grain patterns are gorgeous.
We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the wood is beautifully finished. There is a historical repair to one of the legs near the top, seen in the images. Our restorer has checked and re-enforced it, the table is strong and sturdy.
