A stunning and very rare Danish vintage teak armchair, this was designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen. It was made by France and Daverkosen and it has the original badge intact, which means it can be dated to somewhere between 1953 and 1957 (from 1958 onwards France & Daverkosen became France & Son). The condition is fantastic for its age, there is just some very minor wear to the solid teak frame here and there; the rattan back and sides are intact and in good condition. We have had the cushions newly made and upholstered in a great quality off white fabric. This is very comfortable as well as very beautiful to look at.
