A superb vintage wall mounting system, this was designed by Kai Kristiansen for Feldballes Mobelfabrik, it dates from the 1960’s. This has many wonderful features, with four large shelves, a smaller shelf, a large slanting shelf, a drop door cabinet and a two drawer writing desk. All can be interchanged and arranged in different configurations. The cabinet has had two detachable legs added to the bottom, presumably to add extra support for weighty items, however it is strong and stable enough without these, so can be used with or without the legs. The condition is excellent for its age, it is clean and study throughout with lovely grain patterns. The veneer on the drop down door of the cabinet is a bit dry and slightly lifting in places, though its not really noticeable, apart from that everything else is more or less perfect. The rails just need to be screwed securely to a wall at your desired height, then the cabinets and shelves are very easy to hook on and adjust.
