A fantastic original 1960’s vintage bureau chest of drawers in rosewood. This was made in England by the high end manufacturer Meredew..

The quality is outstanding, it is a rare and beautiful design. The carcass is beautifully crafted from rosewood, with stunning looped leather handles. The top drawer pulls out and the front face drops down to reveal a useful workspace.

There are gorgeous rosewood grain patterns throughout, this is also beautifully finished on the back, so can be used as a free standing item.

We have just had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
