A magnificent vintage Danish desk in rosewood. This was designed by Svend Aage Madsen, it dates from the 1960’s.

It is of the utmost quality, with a very stylish design and many fine features. The top has a slightly bowed kidney shape, with a raised lipped back and sides. The top ‘floats’ on a twin pedestal base, with very stylish legs that run all the way down the sides and have lovely angled stretchers. The drawers have beautifully crafted rosewood handles, and back of this is very nicely finished as well. The back has two drop down cabinets, one with a mirrored interior, and an open shelf in the middle. The colour tones and rosewood grain patters are absolutely gorgeous throughout.

We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb for its age.
