A stunning and extremely rare vintage cocoon floor lamp by Goldkant Leuchten. It was made in Germany, and dates from the 1960’s.

It has an extraordinary design, resembling a cocoon or cactus, with a spun fibreglass shade that has a look and feel of parchment. It stands on a circular base, this is a good size and glows beautifully when lit.

The condition is excellent for its age with no damage to be seen, just some minor wear an darkening to some edges, consistent with age.
