A stunning vintage Danish sofa bed in teak. This was made by Horsens mobelfabrik, it dates from the 1960’s.

This has a stylish and very clever design, with beautiful panelled teak sides. The back has a mechanism which two pins are released and the back rest flips up to increase the sleeping area. There is also room for storage inside the back rest for spare bedding.

This sits on tapered legs which can be unbolted and removed, the teak sides have a beautiful shape with lipped armrests.

We have had this fully re-upholstered in a cream boucle fabric, the teak has been cleaned and oiled. The condition is excellent for its age, with just some minor surface wear here and there on the frame.
