A rare and absolutely stunning Danish vintage afromosia sofa bed by Arne Vodder for Vamo Mobelfabrik. It was made in Denmark, and dates from the 1960’s.

This is of outstanding quality, the solid afromosia frame has an absolutely gorgeous design, and looks amazing from all angles. The grain patterns and colour tones are beautiful, this has a stylish and useful design, where the seat base can be pulled forward to turn this into a good sized guest bed. The back rest is made from a lighter coloured birch wood, that contrasts beautifully with the darker afromosia wood.

We have had the frame completely stripped and re-polished to a very high standard. The cushions have been newly made and upholstered in a beautifully soft cream boucle fabric, this is in amazing condition throughout.
