A stunning, very rare and extremely comfortable pair of Danish teak armchairs by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen. This is the model FD-130 lounge chair, made in Denmark by France and Son, they date from the 1960’s.

The quality is exceptional, they are beautifully made from gorgeous solid teak, which has lovely grain patterns and colour tones.

We have had the frames stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the cushions have been recently upholstered in a grey wool fabric. The original seat cushions are sprung and make the chairs extremely comfortable, the seat platforms have sprung webbing.

The chairs are in superb condition throughout, the original France and Son makers badges are seen on the base of each chair.
