An exceptional pair of vintage Danish rosewood and leather armchairs by Niels Koefoed. They were made in Denmark by Koefoed Hornslet, they date from the 1960’s.

This model is exceedingly rare and the chairs are of extremely fine quality. They are beautifully designed, with beautiful exposed dovetailed joints on the front and back of the armrests. The angular frames make them very comfortable to sit in, they are elegant yet sturdy and sound. The rosewood grain patterns and colour tones are stunning.

We have had the frames stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, with new webbing on the bases. The cushions have been newly upholstered in a gorgeous tan aniline leather. The condition is superb throughout.
