An incredibly stylish and rare pair of vintage mahogany and leather 661 chairs by Robin Day for Hille.

They were designed in 1951 for the Royal Festival hall, this is an original pair that dates from the 1950’s.

The moulded ply backrests are beautifully shaped and are laminated in mahogany, with brass accents. They stand on ebonised steel legs and have newly upholstered seat pads in hand coloured leather.

We have had the wood stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, all the upholstery is new and frames have been cleaned. They are in outstanding condition for their age.
