A stylish and unusual pair of vintage bar stools on steel bases. They were made in England, and they date from around the 1960-70’s.

They have a fantastic design and are of amazing quality. The upholstered seats actually swivel from side to side, with a mechanism that swings them back centrally automatically. The steel tulip shaped bases each have four screw holes and these are designed be attached to the floor. They are a good height, but as there is no foot rest it is suggested that these are placed against a bar with a foot rest to help mount them, as those who are not particularly tall may struggle to get on!

The metal has more of a subdued and matt finish than in appears in the images.

We have had the seats re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric, these are in great overall condition with just some minor surface wear to the bases.
