A superb vintage wall mounting system, this was designed by Kai Kristiansen for Feldballes Mobelfabrik, it dates from the 1960’s. This has many wonderful features, with four large shelves, a smaller shelf, a large slanting shelf, a drop door cabinet and a two drawer writing desk. All can be interchanged and arranged in different configurations. The cabinet has had two detachable legs added to the bottom, presumably to add extra support for weighty items, however it is strong and stable enough without these, so can be used with or without the legs. The condition is excellent for its age, it is clean and study throughout with lovely grain patterns. The veneer on the drop down door of the cabinet is a bit dry and slightly lifting in places, though its not really noticeable, apart from that everything else is more or less perfect. The rails just need to be screwed securely to a wall at your desired height, then the cabinets and shelves are very easy to hook on and adjust.

Width of each cabinet / shelf – 86 cm , 34 inches

A stunning and very rare vintage dining suite designed by the famous Danish designer Hans Wegner, this was made in Denmark around the 1950-60’s. The chairs are often known as the ‘heart’ chairs due to the shape of the seats, they have a stunning three legged design. Often this set is seen with teak and beech frames, this is the much rarer version made from teak and oak. The table offered here is an extremely rare four legged version, with an additional leaf to extend it to an oval table; usually this suite comes with a three legged fixed top table. The table and all the chairs have been stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is immaculate throughout.

You can see how beautiful this is from the photos, but they still don’t fully do it justice, you have to see it in person to appreciate the quality. The construction is solid teak throughout, the base is identical back and front. The back rest and side rest are removable and adjustable, they are supported by chrome plated steel bars. The condition is superb, we have had this completely re-upholstered in a beautiful teal fabric. The teak is clean, sturdy and sound with only some extremely minor wear here and there.
