An absolutely magnificent rosewood executive desk of the highest order. This was made in England, it dates from the 1960’s.

This is very large and impressive, with an amazing and quite unusual design. The top has a bow shaped front, and a very high quality brass rim around the entire edge. The top is suspended by four brass supports and appears to float, the pedestals are also supported by four brass feet.

There is an inset black leather writing surface on the top, and this has stunning rosewood grain patterns throughout. The rosewood is book matched, so the grain patterns mirror each other on each pedestal, on the front and the back. The back is beautifully finished, this is designed to be free standing or can be pushed against the wall as the back is flat.

There are seven graduated drawers, beautifully constructed with fine, hand cut dovetailed joints.

We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is immaculate throughout.
