A magnificent Art Deco figured walnut pedestal desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.

The quality is outstanding, this is a large and impressive size, with a generous knee hole space. There are beautiful figured walnut book matched grain patterns all over, especially on the top. This is beautifully finished on all sides including the back, so it can be used as a free standing item.

The stainless steel handles are also beautifully crafted, they contrast nicely with the walnut. There are three drawers that run across the top, the right side has a locking door and on the left there are two further drawers including a double filing drawer with dividers.

We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout for its age. The top lifts off and this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.
