A stylish and very rare vintage ‘Gambit’ sofa bed by Guy Rogers. This was made in England during the 1960’s.

The frame is solid afromosia wood, which has gorgeous grain patterns and a beautiful, rich colour.

The arms drop down and the back cushions go on either end to turn this into a guest bed. The arms can be dropped completely flat or supported at a slight angle, as seen in the images. There is also a storage area underneath the seat cushions, covered by two removable ply wood slats.

We have just had this re-polished, and the cushions have been re-upholstered in a cream boucle fabric. The condition is excellent for its age.
