An outstanding vintage Italian desk in walnut and brass, with a matching leather desk chair. This is very much in the manner of Gio Ponti, it was made in Italy and dates from the 1960-70’s.

The quality is absolutely fantastic, this is very large with a beautiful and stylish design.

The desk top is slightly curved, the drawers have brass handles and the beautifully tapered legs have brass feet caps. The drawers all have a central locking system, this come with a key. There is an additional pullout slide shelf that comes out from the middle, and the back of the desk is also beautifully finished.

The matching leather armchair was made for this desk, it is upholstered in brown leather with walnut arms and legs, with brass supports under the arms and brass feet caps.

All the walnut has been stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the leather on the chair has been revived by our leather restorer. The condition is superb throughout.
