A stylish and very well made pair of Swedish Art Deco armchairs in satin birch. They were recently imported from Sweden, they date from the 1930’s.

The quality is excellent, they are well sprung and very comfortable. The sweeping satin birch arms curve beautifully down to the front legs, giving them a sleek and curvaceous look, they sit on beautiful Neoclassical Egyptian style feet. The satin birch has a lovely colour tone and wonderful grain patterns.

We have had the frames stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, and they have been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent.
