A beautiful and rare set of six Danish ‘compass’ dining chairs in solid afromosia. These were designed by Kai Kristiansen, they were made in Denmark in the 1960’s.
The quality is fantastic and the design is stunning, these look amazing from all angles. The angled legs give them the name of compass chairs, the legs are joined by stretchers which give them extra stability. The seat and back area are very generous, these chairs are comfortable and supportive.
The condition is excellent for their age, with barely any wear to be seen. The solid afromosia wood frames are clean, sturdy and sound with no damage. The original black vinyl upholstery is also very clean and completely free from damage.
