An exceptional vintage rosewood and leather sideboard, made in England and dating from around the 1950’s.

This is of outstanding quality, with many fine and unusual features. Is is constructed from solid wood throughout, the top, legs, border around the doors and even the drawer runners are all solid rosewood. The legs have beautiful notched carving, which is even visible inside when the doors are open. The interior is mostly solid oak lined, with adjustable shelves and slide trays. The leather bound doors have solid brass ring pull handles.

This is in superb condition for its age, we have had the wood stripped and re-polished to a very high standard. The leather has been hand coloured and revived by our leather restorer, it has gorgeous colour tone and patina.

The wood is Santos rosewood, which does not require a CITES or article 10 certificate.
