Probably the most comfortable reclining armchair you could ever find, this is a fine and rare example of a “Rock ‘n’ Rest” armchair with matching stool. These were designed by Rastad & Relling and made by Gimson & Slater in the 1960’s. You won’t find one in better condition anywhere, we have had the frames fully stripped and re-polished to a very high standard. They’ve also been newly upholstered in a stunning light green fabric, the condition is absolutely superb throughout. The chair rocks on a spring and has a lever mechanism to lock it into place, either in the upright position or reclined. The stool also has a tilt mechanism for optimum comfort when reclining. This is one of those pieces that we’ll be sad to see go!
